Profile

I am a life coach, writer’s coach and parent coach based in Weybridge, Surrey. I work with clients on both personal and professional development, enabling them to hear their own voice, listen to their own heart and follow their own dreams.

I qualified as a parenting group facilitator in 1997 with The Parent Network and trained as a co-active coach with the Coaches Training Institute; I am accredited by both CTI and the International Coach Federation. I have also been trained by Relational Dynamics 1st on the Coaching for Writers course sponsored by NAWE and Arvon and accredited by RD1st and Performance Coach Training. I work with clients face-to-face in Weybridge, Surrey and Kensington, London, and nationally and internationally by phone or Skype. I also ‘Walk my Talk’ with clients in Surrey countryside.

We all have our own answers - but often, we just don't know where to look for them. Through deep listening, powerful questions, and a combination of compassion and challenge, insight and intuition, I work with my clients in exploring their lives with curiosity, courage and excitement, looking at where they are now, where they long to be and WHO THEY NEED TO BE to get there.

I combine my background in parenting skills with my coaching to work with parents either 1-1 by phone or Skype, or in groups within a 15 mile radius of Weybridge, Surrey, on issues such as raising their child's self-esteem; improving behaviour; reducing stress; improving communication and relationships within the family and enjoying family life more.

As a creative writer myself - of poetry and prose, fiction and non-fiction, for adults and children - I know how easily we can get stuck. I love to coach other writers around issues such as work / life / creativity balance; overcoming procrastination; dealing with lack of confidence; setting priorities; clarifying and achieving goals. I have also designed and delivered creative writing / coaching workshops for writers.

In the past I have been a maths teacher and additionally have over 11 years of experience in marketing, with responsibility for copywriting and editing the company’s marketing material.
